To support our growth and further expand our brand presence, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Event & Sponsoring Manager to join our marketing department. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of events and sponsorships that align with our brand strategy, helping us engage with customers and partners in impactful ways. Key responsibilities:

• Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for events, from corporate functions to public-facing brand activations, in alignment with our overall marketing objectives.
• Sponsorship Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage sponsorship opportunities that enhance DIGI Belgium’s brand visibility and align with our values.
• Event Execution: Oversee the execution of events, ensuring that everything from logistics to branding is flawlessly handled to provide a memorable experience for attendees.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, sponsors, and event suppliers to ensure successful collaborations.
• Budget Management: Manage event and sponsorship budgets, ensuring cost-effective yet impactful execution, while tracking expenditures and delivering within financial goals.
• Brand Representation: Ensure that all events and sponsorship activities represent DIGI Belgium’s brand values and contribute to our brand's presence in the market.
• Performance Evaluation: Analyze the effectiveness of events and sponsorships, using data-driven insights to inform future strategies and continually improve outcomes.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and communications teams to ensure alignment of events and sponsorships with overall business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event management, sponsorships, or marketing roles.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and delivering successful events or sponsorship activations.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and the ability to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
• Fluency in French/Dutch and English is essential.
• Knowledge of the telecom industry is a plus but not required.
