For our HQ in Roeselare, we are looking for a Finance Assistant (fulltime)

What you’ll do

As a finance assistant you will support both in credit & collection and accounts payable. A unique opportunity for a varied job as part of a small team in an international context. In this role you report directly to the Finance Business Partner.

Credit & Collection
You are responsible for monitoring financial customer transactions, managing customer relationships and communications.

• Recording incoming payments
  
• Monitoring customer balance
  
• Payment reminders (mail, phone)
  
• Manage blacklists & doubtful debts
  
• Credit checks & assessment of customers creditworthiness
  
• Handling customer questions by mail or phone
  

Accounts payable
You are responsible for monitoring all financial transactions with/for suppliers, managing supplier relations and communication.

• Book incoming invoices
  
• Follow up on approval of invoices
  
• Execution of payments
  
• Monitor suppliers balance & answer questions by mail or phone
  

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you understand what it takes to make a high-end brand better every single day.
Therefore, you should bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in a financial field , preferrable with a couple of years experience, but we are also open for fresh graduates
  
• A minimum knowledge of accounting & VAT
  
• You are accurate and driven to work according to policies, guidelines and procedures
  
• You are communicative, commercial, customer and results oriented
  
• Thorough language skills (Dutch, French and English) - verbal and written.
  
• Knowledge of MS office, experience with SAP is a plus
