Founded in 2012, Eye D Pharma is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the life of patients suffering from ophthalmic diseases with unmet medical needs such as glaucoma or dry eye. We develop innovative therapeutic solutions based on sustained release polymeric micro-implants and inserts.

To support its development, Eye D Pharma is hiring a Financial & Business Controller to add to its Finance department.

Your responsibilities

The Controller leads the development of costing and forecasting tools for both Eye D Pharma and Uni D Manufacturing. (S)he sets up the processes to ensure these tools are timely and effectively used. (S)he reports to the Finance Director. The responsibilities cover, among others:

Maintaining and improving financial management dashboards allowing the analysis of actual results compared to budget and other business plans
Reviewing monthly variances or unusual items and holding quarterly budget meetings with operational teams to ensure costs are under control and financial reporting is up to date
Setting up cost accounting for Uni D Manufacturing production and development services
Ensuring an optimal implementation/configuration of ERP or other tools
Forecasting cash available both on a short- and long-term basis

Your profile

Master in Business Management or Finance
At least 5 years experience as financial auditor, accounting manager or cost controller
At ease with complex spreadsheets
Experience in production costing
Experience in ERP implementation/configuration is an asset
Experience in a Health Sciences environment is an asset
Read, write and speak fluent English and French;
Proactive, autonomous, precise,

Willing to work in a start-up environment.
