What you will be doing as a Front-End Engineer:
As an early member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our front-end codebase, design system and tooling for years to come. Building an easy-to-work-with user interface for our customers, administrators and inspectors is one of our top priorities. Although hands-on experience in UI design is not a hard requirement, you can take a leading role in the design of the application. You will work closely with our Product Manager to translate customer feedback into an intuitive UI and discuss backend requirements with our Lead Developer.
Who you are:

• You have at least 2 years of experience with Typescript, React, HTML and CSS.
• You have experience building reusable design systems.
• You have experience in end-to-end testing.
• You have excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment, sharing ideas openly and working closely with others to solve problems.
• You can break down big ideas into bite-sized chunks and build incrementally.
• You are pragmatic and proactive; you ask the right questions to define and meet your goals proactively.
• You have a positive mindset and are a born problemsolver.

Ideally you;

• Have experience in designing user interfaces and be able to understand pain points of users.
• Have experience working in startups or scale ups.
• Contribute to improving our way of working and communication internally.
