Are you driven by the challenge of ensuring IT continuity and performing under pressure? If you are passionate about resiliency, security, and Agile methodologies, you may be the Resiliency Engineer we need to bring our digital ambitions to life. As part of our IT Production Security department, you’ll play a key role in validating the resiliency of our services and solutions, benefiting millions of clients. You’ll work within the Agile Impulse organization, collaborating with tribes and stakeholders, ensuring our Bank’s ability to react effectively to critical failures, and embedding security in the early design phase of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
-Ensure the Bank's ability to respond to critical application or datacenter failures.
-Collaborate with Application Owners on delivering and validating Application Impact Analysis (AIA), Continuity Run Books (CRB), Disaster.
-Recovery (DR) unitary exercise documents, and addressing potential gaps.
-Act as the primary contact for several tribes regarding all resiliency topics.
-Regularly follow up on infrastructure and application landscape changes affecting deliverables, including progress on AIA, CRB, and DR exercises.
-Participate in Fortis & IT Group transversal Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, ensuring CRB readiness and validating infrastructure ---components across data centers.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute DR exercises, identifying risks, preparing mitigation plans, and helping build the Master Run Book (MRB).
-Facilitate the execution of DR exercises, which may occur during nights and weekends, up to three times a year.
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resiliency Engineer or relevant roles such as Security Engineer, OPS Engineer, or Architect.
Strong interest or knowledge in the Resiliency domain, with the ability to clearly communicate resiliency expectations and challenges to stakeholders.
-Solid understanding of the technology landscape, stakeholder management, and communication best practices.
-Ability to review and validate architecture and technical diagrams concerning resiliency.
-Strong knowledge of processes and procedures, emphasizing their importance in IT resiliency.
-Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, Application Development, Databases, and Middleware is a plus.
Strong knowledge of English; Dutch/French language skills are an advantage.
