We are seeking a motivated and experienced Railway Safety Engineer to join our growing team within the SAFETY department. The successful candidate will specialize in FDMS/RAMS, with a focus on reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety in the railway, urban, and road transport sectors. You will be working on high-profile national and international projects, primarily in Belgium and abroad. The ideal candidate is passionate about railway safety, technically proficient, and ready to contribute to impactful transport projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct FDMS/RAMS studies and develop safety dossiers, including failure and risk analysis for transport systems and equipment (railway, urban, road).
-Participate in the design and definition of FDMS/RAMS constraints in transport projects.
-Play a key role during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases of various projects.
-Work on projects in both Belgium and internationally.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in the RAMS field.
-Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
-Proven experience in FDMS/RAMS, with knowledge of risk analysis methods (HAZOP, FMECA, fault trees, etc.) and standards EN 50126, 50128, and 50129.
-Strong organizational skills, logical thinking, and a good sense of responsibility.
-Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
-Experience writing technical documentation.
