Overview:We are seeking a dedicated IT Engineer to provide comprehensive hardware and software support during a temporary backfill period. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, while also supporting network operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
• Provide hardware and software installation and troubleshooting support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Deliver L1 and L2 network support, collaborating with the remote networking team to resolve complex network issues.
• Installation and Maintenance:
• Perform hardware installations for PCs, networking equipment, Wi-Fi, and printers.
• Conduct incident resolution and troubleshooting for hardware and network-related issues.
• Execute physical checks on devices, PCs, and network configurations.
• Software Management:
• Install Windows operating systems and desktop applications as needed.
• Perform system patches, periodic reviews, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
• Execute hardware firmware updates and provide support for vendor technicians.

Working Hours:Services will be provided during the end-customer’s normal office hours, as follows:

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Wommelgem)
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Mont Saint Guibert)
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Wommelgem)
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Wommelgem)

Locations:

• Wommelgem, Nijverheidsstraat 2160, Belgium
• Mont Saint Guibert, Rue Emile Francqui 3, 1435, Belgium

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support, particularly in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and experience in L1 and L2 support.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and desktop application management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with end-users.
