We are hiring a Full Stack Developer for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities

Package Description
We are hiring a Full Stack Developer for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Development of front-end website architecture.
- Design of user interactions on web pages.
- Development of back-end website applications.
- Implement core business logic.
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Cross-platform optimisation.
- Design responsive applications.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
- Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Write technical documentation.
- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
Bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- At least 8 years of experience in JAVA development (min. competence level 5)
- At least 5 years of experience in J2EE/JSP/SF (min. competence level 4)
- At least 5 years of experience in Angular development (min. competence level 4)
- At least 5 years of experience in Spring Boot and JPA (min. competence level 4)
- At least 5 years of experience in Spring (min. competence level 4)
- At least 5 years of experience in Git (min. competence level 4)
- At least 4 years of experience in HTML5, Javascript, ES6, CSS3 and SASS (min. competence level 3)
- At least 4 years of experience in Oracle and SQL (min. competence level 4)
- At least 2 years of experience in Hibernate (min. competence level 3)
- At least 5 years of experience in webservices (SOAP, REST) (min. competence level 3)
- At least 1 year of experience in AWS Cloud Technologies Serverless Framework / Lambda functions and Micro Services (min. competence level 2)
- At least 1 year of experience in Agile (min. competence level 2)
