Global Medical Lead DEE & Epilepsy

We are looking for a Global Medical Lead for Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies (DEE) & Epilepsy who is a subject matter expert, collaborative, and has excellent communication skills to join us in our Global Medical Affairs Neurology team, based preferably in our Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium, or Slough, UK
About the Role
As the Global Medical Lead for DEE & Epilepsy, you will provide medical expertise and strategic leadership to drive the right adoption of our solutions, elevate the standard of care, and improve patient outcomes. You will play a critical role in developing and executing the global medical disease strategy, engaging with external stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our DEE and epilepsy portfolio. You are a core member of the cross-functional asset subteam and contribute to the development of the DEE & Epi strategy and the medical plan in alignment with the asset strategy
Who You’ll Work With
You will be working in a dynamic team that includes professionals from diverse backgrounds in medical affairs, clinical development, research, and external engagement. You will collaborate closely with regional and local teams, scientific societies, and key opinion leaders to advance our medical strategies and initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead global disease medical affairs strategy and execution for DEE & Epilepsy indications.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the global medical asset strategy.
- Provide expertise to life-cycle management, label expansion, and strategic medical activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
- Medical degree (MD) or Ph.D., with a preference for an M.D. in Neurology specialization.
- 5+ years of experience in medical affairs at global, regional, or local levels.
- Strong background in neurology, epilepsy, and rare diseases.
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, with experience in complex scientific environments.
