We are seeking a dynamic and personable Host Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will learn to provide exceptional guest experience by managing reception duties, welcoming guests, and overseeing the bar area. This role is perfect for a multitasker with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Reception

• Be the face of Hotel Hubert, greeting guests with a warm smile and a friendly hello.
• Swiftly check-in/check-out guests with efficiency.
• Master the art of multitasking by handling reservations, inquiries, and cancellations via phone, email, or in-person.
• Keep the reception area looking sharp and inviting.

Guest Relations

• Roll out the red carpet for all guests upon arrival.
• Lend a hand with luggage and guide guests to their rooms with a friendly chat.
• Be the go-to expert for all things Brussels, from must-see attractions to the best local dining spots.
• Turn frowns upside down by resolving guest issues promptly and professionally.

Bar

• Take charge of the bar area, ensuring it’s stocked, spotless, and ready to impress.
• Shake, stir, and pour beverages like a pro, from classic cocktails to refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
• Create a lively and welcoming vibe at the bar, getting to know guests and making them feel at home.
• Keep an eye on inventory and ensure supplies are always on hand for the next round.

What are we looking for ?

• You effortlessly speak English to communicate with our international clientele. Proficiency in French, Dutch or any other language is advantageous!
• You're a student in hospitality or a related field, but what truly counts is your vibrant personality: customer-focused, inherently diplomatic, and driven to provide exceptional service that surpasses expectations.
• You have an internship agreement starting from December - January 2025, ideally for a minimum of three months (but six months would be even more perfect!).

• Work Schedule and Professional Environment : The shifts include working hours from 7 AM to 3 PM as well as from 3 PM to 11 PM. You may be required to work weekends and occasionally night shifts (subject to agreement with your school).
