An exciting opportunity to join the British Chamber team in Brussels. We are growing our membership, and this role is integral to supporting our outreach into new markets. You’ll support the administration with a focus on managing our extensive membership database. You’ll assist the business development activity with analysis and research into companies and sectors and be part of the Events team.
Key responsibilities
Business Development & Membership

• Conduct research to identify prospective members
• Support in the recruitment of new members
• Monitor member engagement
• Support the commercial and sales team
• Research of the business environment in Belgium
• Analyse data and trends on business, with a focus on BE-UK related activities
• Process all documentation relating to virtual office clients

Database Management & Analysis - Odoo

• Managing and updating membership database
• Support membership development and prospecting
• Managing e-commerce
• Support the Comms Officer for email campaigns

Your Profile

• Right to live and work in the EU without requiring a work visa, either through nationality or acquired under the Withdrawal Agreement.
• BA or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Finance, International Business, General Business Studies, ICT etc.)
• Proficiency in English, French and/or Dutch is an advantage
• Keen commercial outlook
• Excellent communications skills
• Experience with Odoo

Start date: October 2024 Duration: 12 months
Compensation: This position is under the rules of the Belgian ‘Convention d’Immersion Professionelle’ (CIP) contract. Further details upon interview.
