This role in summary
Part of Whirlpool Corporation, Kitchen Aid Europe Inc. is selling throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa a range of premium Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), starting with the iconic Stand Mixer, well known by all pastry lovers.
Throughout its long history, Kitchen Aid has remained true to its roots as the brand for those who are passionate about cooking and, with each new development, continues to deliver a mix of sophisticated professional technique and iconic design.
Your responsibilities will include
- Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement a 360- degree marketing plan on a local level, aligned with company goals as well as local strategies. Determine the optimal media mix.
- Manage Budget: Allocate and oversee marketing budget.
- Collaborate with and manage agencies: Supervise and work closely with different stakeholders: PR, event agencies, print, demo & merchandising, etc.
- Partnerships. Seek for valuable brand & influencer partnerships, in collaboration with PR agencies. Maintain a close relationship with main partners.
- Collaborate closely with the local sales team: Understand the market needs and work closely with sales to achieve market goals. Support sales with marketing activities such as merchandising, demonstrations or promotions.
- Trade marketing: Support trade partners (in close contact with sales) with marketing requests: social media campaigns, instore, brand pages, etc.
- Oversee Content Creation: Manage production of marketing materials in close collaboration with brand team and local sales team
- Collaborate with other Departments: Work with other teams to align marketing efforts.
- Organize Events: Plan and execute promotional events and trade shows.
- Manage Campaigns: Oversee marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain uniformity in brand messaging and visuals.
- Conduct Market Research: Analyze market trends and competition.
- Analyze Performance: Track and report on marketing campaign results in collaboration with PR agencies
Minimum requirements
- Master degree in Marketing and/or International Business
- +5 years experience in trade, brand or product marketing
- Experience working with a premium brand, would be a plus
- Consumer-oriented mindset and channel and market insight
- Experience in development and implementation of concepts
- Fluent in Dutch and English language, French is a plus
- Cross functional team player
- Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point/Google Slides
- Motivated by cooking and home appliance world
- Experience in Sales, PR & Events and Social Media is a plus
- Willing to travel to Brussels/Strombeek 1x/week (during onboarding period)
- Having a driver’s license
