Do you want to join an innovative and rapidly growing tech startup and take on a new challenge? Shippr is hiring students to handle the daily delivery of newspapers in the Hoogstraten area. This mission is part of a brand new project at the core of our operations, aimed at distributing daily newspapers to all Belgian subscribers. Without you, Belgium would be deprived of its morning news!
Who are we? Based in Brussels, Paris, and London, Shippr is a digital delivery platform that connects businesses with a network of professional couriers.We provide technological and logistical solutions to our business clients to simplify their transport management.
What are your responsibilities in the newspaper delivery mission?

• You will arrive at the warehouse at 5 AM to pick up the newspapers for your route (prepared by an on-site team lead).
• You will follow an optimized route to deliver over a hundred newspapers faster than your shadow.
• Fast but thorough, you’ll make sure the newspapers are delivered to the right recipients, so Mrs. X gets her daily paper on time.

What are the requirements?

• You have a valid driver’s license and your own car.
• You are punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
• You’re a real early bird: working early in the morning doesn’t scare you (congratulations, the future belongs to those who rise early!).
• Familiarity with the delivery area is a plus, but not required.
• You are fluent in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, and/or English.
• You are available immediately.

What are the working hours?

• 5 days per week contract, Monday to Saturday (based on your route’s schedule).
• From 5 AM to 8 AM from Monday to Friday, and until 10 AM on Saturday (end of shift when all deliveries are completed).
