You will join Sioen Technical Weaving Haaltert, producer of technical textiles. STWH specialises in the production of technical fabrics for food industry, yacht sailcloth and industrial filtration, among others.

Job description
You will work in our weaving mill in Haaltert as a thread operator or verifier (2 shifts).

Thread Operator:

• Connecting warp and weft threads when changing weaving looms.
• Checking threads for knots and defects before use.

Verifier:

• Inspecting woven fabrics during and after production for errors and deviations.
• Documenting defects and reporting to the Production Coordinator.

Profile

• You have a technical interest or experience in a production environment.
• You are punctual, motivated and you can work both independently and in a team.
• Experience with a rotating bridge and/or forklift? That's a plus!
• You consult with your colleagues and team leader to fulfill your tasks successfully.
• You have an eye for quality and safety.
• You are not colourblind.
• You have a fluent knowledge of Dutch.
