THE POSITION

The Sales Manager (Belgium) position within Odyssey Hotel Group is designed specifically for those passionate individuals who aspire to grow and develop a career in hospitality sales. As a Regional Sales Manager you are primarily responsible for securing room- and business into the properties and meet the financial goals.
You will team up with other Sales-, Revenue- and Marketing colleagues to secure new business and grow existing accounts for the hotels, along future developments in line with hotel business plans. As a Regional Sales Manager you will directly report to the Director of Sales within your region.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively search for opportunities for the Odyssey Hotel Group portfolio and attend networking events.
  • Liaise regularly with the revenue and reservations team to ensure that activities undertaken for the hotels are increasing the hotel profit in line with the business plan.
  • Drive revenue within the hotels by ensuring it is effectively sold within the local and national marketplace to deliver the annual sales targets set for the hotels.
  • Analyse market information by using sales systems and execute strategies to achieve property's financial rooms- and catering goals.
  • Communicate, develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Fully understand and execute sales processes.
  • Attend all relevant company trainings, as required.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING


  • Your English is top-notch, similarly as your Dutch;
  • French knowledge is a plus;
  • Experience in hospitality is preferred;
  • You have a minimum 1+ year of experience in sales;
  • Salesforce knowledge is an advantage;
  • Local network;
  • Willingness to travel.
