Business context
The mission will be performed within a team of business process owners and SAS developers in charge of delivering, on a monthly basis, various inputs for the Financial Closing of M&S Belgium entity. Those inputs are the results of various SAS programs with calculation done at delivery point (more than 4 million delivery points).
Technical context

• Data are available in SAS coming from internal and external parties (Atrias, etc.) and is treated with SAS Base software

Job description
The activities will be the following ones:

• Run of recurrent monthly programs (process instructions follow-up, KIR, bug fixing, etc.), including quality checks monitoring
• Implementation of change requests on the existing programs based on business requirements (including testing)
• Review and update of existing SAS programs documentation (quality, technical documentation per statement, etc.)
• Propose possible improvements on way of working (dependencies between programs, etc.)

The mission requires to :

• Have experience with the fundamentals/concepts of relational databases (e.g. PK, FK, Indexes, etc.),
• Have capabilities & willingness to understand the functional knowledge behind the code,
• Team player with good interactions and communication skills (mainly with business process owners part of the team)
• Work efficiently and independently (process instructions follow-up and improvements, etc.) with a focus on delivering in time and learning mentality
• Prepare and execute relevant testing, including defect registration and resolution
• Be attentive to recurrence/regression indicators throughout the test cycles
• Provide advice on release readiness of tested functionalities

Nice to have competencies

• Experience with performances tuning of SAS programs is a plus
• Experience in Belgian Utility Market processes is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP IS-U / CRM and SAP BI is a plus
• Experience with TFS for code deployment
