The Scientist is expected to participate to scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/ II, Phase III. The main responsibilities may include to scout for new technologies, to lead the development of new analytical methods, to validate analytical method and transfer to commercial activities. As part of the day-to-day duties, the Scientist is also expected to plan and execute analytical testing for the characterization/release of clinical lots, as well as lead investigations for product understanding or address any issue raised in the lab. The Scientist will be contributing to a broad vaccine portfolio covering attenuated and live viruses, adeno vectors and m RNA based vaccines.

Your responsibilities:

You design and lead specific development workstreams in collaboration with other Scientist and the team Manager, in line with business priorities, following the Quality by Design framework.
You have basic project management skills, sufficient to prepare testing plans that can provide all necessary information to the technicians executing the testing, and finally contribute to optimal efficiency
You collaborate with and/or leads scientific staff to design, implement, and interpret the data from development workstreams.
You make sound scientific/technical and business decisions based on a balance of data, analysis and experience.
You function effectively as a core team member on multiple concurrent project workstreams and established work processes.
You solve complex problems through collaborations with others, taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
You generate strong relationships in the area of technical development with high quality partners beneficial to the organization, both internally and externally, to strengthen development/implementation of new methods/technologies related to viral and m RNA vaccines.
You prepare and present scientific data within Technical R&D including Technical Development Team a
You author and review technical protocol, reports and manufacturing support documents in support of various project development stages.
You utilize technical process knowledge to meet regulatory requirements appropriate for stage of development.
You communicate effectively within TRD and with external stakeholders and is able to defend scientific and technical decisions at the appropriate technical board.
You benchmark specific technologies in own functional area to bring technology to state of the art.
You ensure execution of the function’s risk assessment and escalate at relevant bodies. Development of mitigation plans.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Ph D with 3+ years of post-doc or experience in industry.
Degree in Biology, Virology, Biotechnology.
At least 3 years of experience in flow cytometry is a must.
Must have the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Fluent spoke French is a must (collaboration in international environment, conferences, etc)
Fluent in spoken and written English both scientifically/technically as well as conversational.
Sound scientific methodology and thinking
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Solution oriented mindset and driven personality, enthusiastic about science
Person easy to relate to, sociable and diplomatic

Preferred qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

At least 2 years of experience in vaccines related domains.
Experience with m RNA vaccines and Viral vaccines is preffered.
Ph D + 3 years of experience in vaccine industry (Viral and m RNA vaccine).
5 years of experience in flow cytometry using different type of equipments.
