For our Finance department, we are actively looking for a motivated Senior Business Controller.

Mission:

The Senior Business Controller is responsible for overseeing the business’s day-to-day financial operations of his/her specific domain/ area.
He/she steers the management’s strategy, advises on the organizational structure and optimization of processes with a focus on achieving the company’s financial targets and safeguarding the long-term financial health of the company.

Within the controlling team of a BU/Area, the senior controller drives and coordinates the financial cycle of a specific domain and/or area:

• is responsible for construction of budget and budget updates together with BU directors in charge and in collaboration with other controlling teams
  
• gives recommendations to senior management based on financial performance (monthly reporting)
  
• ensures that financial targets are met by challenging the operational plans
  
• contributes to the definition of the BU strategy
  

Key responsibilities:

• Drives and coordinates end-to-end support and control of the domain P&L (revenues, direct cost, opex and capex controlling) + creates financial insights per business segment
  
• Proactively identifies deviances vs. financial targets & recommends corrective course of action to senior management (Directors)
  
• Ensures compliance with finance policies (IFRS, SOX)
  
• Drives process optimization/simplification within controlling
  
• Motivates, coaches & lead the business controllers within a specific area
  
• Accountable for reporting on BU/Area financial and commercial performance towards the company
  

Profile:

• Minimum 7+ years in similar role
  
• Deep knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, planning & controlling
  
• Process analysis: tools & methodologies
  
• Understanding of complex situations and transversal implications within the organization
  
• Developed analytical & synthetical skills
  
• Commercial sense: good knowledge of products and services, solid understanding of Telco market evolution
  
• Good understanding & vision on Financial Systems
  
• Know how on accounting tools (ERP systems, reporting systems…)
