Position: Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Hybrid (2-3 days on-site at the client’s office)
Languages: French or Dutch + English
Candidates must already reside in the European Union and possess an EU Passport/Work Permit in a European Union country (mandatory)

Technical and Soft Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in one of the main clouds (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure), with a deep understanding of networking, including service meshes (Istio) and multi-cluster setups.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes, particularly in deploying and managing GKE clusters.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools: experience with Terraform and Helm for deployments.
CI/CD Pipelines: experience with Git Lab CI/CD for managing automated deployments.
Programming skills: proficient in Python or Go Lang for scripting, automation, and developing custom controllers.
Security Knowledge: in-depth knowledge of security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
Collaboration with Architecture: experience working closely with architects to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.
Documentation: ability to create detailed and comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions.
