As part of our modernization initiative under the e Dossier program, we seek a Senior Data Manager and Engineer. This ambitious program comprises various projects with a strict timeline, and we are looking for strong profiles to commit to its successful delivery by 2027.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Manager and Engineer to independently lead data management and engineering activities within the e Dossier initiative and the broader organization. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals and will collaborate with our enterprise architect and data cell.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Manager and Engineer to independently lead data management and engineering activities within the e Dossier initiative and the broader organization. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals and will collaborate with our enterprise architect and data cell.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement master data management and metadata management strategies, creating a data glossary and dictionary for both the initiative and the organization.
- Ensure high-quality and secure data analysis, progressing from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics. This includes all phases from data collection to modeling and visualization, tailored to the organization's needs.
- Transition current on-premises data and future cloud data to the Azure Cloud data platform, utilizing available cloud services and commercial solutions while adhering to established security policies and architecture.
- Create and propose architectural data designs and translate them into actionable implementation steps.
- Enhance organizational data maturity and collaborate with stakeholders to establish a data-driven culture.
- Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate effectively and promote collaboration.
- A degree in Computer Science is preferred, but relevant experience is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in data management within complex organizations.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in:
- Master Data Management and Metadata Management
- Data Quality and Data Governance
- Data Integration and Data Security
- Predictive and Prescriptive Data Analytics
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud data engineering, particularly with:
- Data pipelines (setup, workflow automation, batch, and real-time)
- Data storage and architecture
- Azure Cloud platforms
- Data visualization tools, specifically Power BI
- Proven experience in agile team environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Dutch, French, English. Proficiency in all three languages is an asset.
