Position: Senior Symfony Developer (PHP)
Location: Full Remote (European Union Only)
Language Requirement: English - C1 or higher
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Symfony Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Symfony (PHP). This is a fully remote role available only to candidates within the European Union. You’ll join a dynamic team working on exciting projects that impact our customers worldwide. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can communicate effectively in English at a C1 level or higher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Symfony and PHP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain new features.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
- Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to team sprints with regular code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, suggesting improvements to existing processes and technologies.
- Document technical specifications and maintain high standards in code quality and testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Symfony Experience: Minimum of 6 years of proven experience with Symfony 5.X+
- PHP Expertise: Minimum 6 years experience working with PHP 8.X+ and object-oriented programming.
- Confident use of the Linux shell
- Database Skills: Proficiency with relational databases such as My SQL or Postgre SQL.
- API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git for version control.
- Testing and Debugging: Experience with automated testing and debugging tools.
- Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
- English Language Proficiency: Must have advanced English skills (C1 or higher).
- Location Requirement: Must reside within the European Union.
