We are looking for Technical Project manager (TPM) to join our team at BESIX RED

Description du poste

• As TPM, you are part of the technical department and work in close collaboration with the Project Managers. You report to the Technical Director and are based in Belgium; mainly in Flanders and Brussels.

• You coordinate the technical aspects of real estate development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role combines project management expertise with a strong understanding of the technical, operational, and construction aspects.

• You implication starts as from the concept in the preliminary phase : design, construction and/or renovation processes, ensuring a smooth coordination between architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

• You identify potential risks (e.g., construction delays, technical issues, budget overruns) and develop contingency plans. The TPM ensures that all technical elements of the project meet quality and safety standards.

• The TPM develops and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that timelines for deliverables and milestones are met. Adjust schedules and resource allocation as needed to keep the project on track.

• Within the technical department you draw up and check existing specifications, you check plans, offers and tenders. You contribute to the standardization of specifications, in consultation with various internal parties.

As a Senior you ;

• can indepently manage large projects, (40 Meur ~ 100+ Meur)
• bring your experience to BESIX RED and its technical department in developing Best Practices
• can manage more sophisticated Tendering

Qualifications

• Team player is key to your role,
• You have an academic degree in Engineering (construction or architecture), or Architecture.
• You have at least 9 years of relevant experience within large construction projects,
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, preferably both.
• You work proactively, independently and are customer-oriented,
• You are diplomatic and solution-oriented.
