The Test Manager is responsible for overseeing the software testing must be an effective leader, communicator problem solver.
The management process involves establishing goals, communicating them to team members, and assessing their progress toward them.
They oversee the planning, design, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that software meets quality standards and is free from errors or defects
Their basic role involves collaborating with other stakeholders, such as developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure that testing aligns with project goals and objectives.
Manual Testing JD :
As a manual tester at our company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Objectives of this role
Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them.
Create test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain testing infrastructure in the firm for efficient testing.
Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product.
Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new products.
Attend conferences and stay updated with the latest technologies in testing.
Required skills and qualifications
A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
8 to 10+ years of proven experience as a manual tester.
Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
Familiarity with web and mobile development technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script and React Native.
Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good management skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Having a Java certification is preferred.
Exposure to CI\\CD tools such as Git Lab, Jenkins etc.
Familiarity with various cloud technologies like Azure and AWS.
Experience in working with BDD framework using Cucumber or Karate.
(1.) To design and implement test plans for complex features and modules. (2.) To utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency , proactively advocate for timely fixes and quality assurance best practices. (3.) To identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures. (4.) To proactively partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing. (5.) To stay up-to-date with the latest testing technology trends , contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworksor libraries and proactively Implement innovative testing approaches to address evolving software complexities.
