Job Description:
The global center of Software Development for Envista, Medicim, located in Mechelen (Belgium), is world leader in innovative software solutions for the dental profession. We investigate, develop, maintain and support innovative software solutions for dentists and dental technicians. Our software solutions create intuitive workflows for image acquisition, diagnostics, treatment planning and dental team collaboration in order to treat patients better. DTX Studio is our flagship software suite.

For our web solutions, we are looking for a software test engineer:

• You will be responsible for functional testing of our web solutions and integration of these with our server-side infrastructure as well as our desktop applications.
• You will design clear, concise and effective test cases based on functional specifications.
• You follow up, analyze and discuss test results.
• You utilize automation to enhance regression testing efficiency.

• You will work in close collaboration with the development team, functional analysis team and other members of the test team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least two years of experience in web app and server-side testing.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
• Preferably, you have knowledge of a scripting language used for test automation (e.g.: Python)
• You have a system-based approach and excel at working in a cross-functional environment.
• You have a strong analytical mindset and you get your energy from understanding and testing complex systems to assure safety and quality.
• You are a quick learner and attracted to work in rapidly changing environments.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
