As our new Student Worker, you will have the opportunity to support our policy team with the full cycle of the new business acquisition and learn all about EU public procurement.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Update and maintenance of our project references database;
- Support with creation and maintenance of the external experts database (including follow-up with experts);
- Administrative support to tenders and projects;
- Support to opportunity management and follow-up (incl. updates to the market surveillance tool; ad-hoc contacts with partners; etc)
- Support to office management (e.g. welcome package for new joiners; ordering materials; etc.)
You will be part of the Business Development team of Ramboll Management Consulting in Belgium. We are a small team supporting the three thematic departments with the acquisition of new business. Based in Brussels, our team is knowledgeable of the EU public procurement procedures and has impeccable organizational skills. You'll be entrusted with the essential task of ensuring that every tender meets its administrative needs flawlessly, all while navigating through tight deadlines and rigorous procedures. About you
Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
These include:
- Enrolment in a (full-time) bachelor or master’s programme in Administration, European Studies, Political Science, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of and an interest in the EU.
- An excellent command of English, both written and oral, and ideally fluency in French.
- Exemplary organisation skills and a knack for detail.
- Experience with administrative tasks (either from other jobs or your studies) is considered an asset
