As a Support Engineer in Dessel, Belgium, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries and issues, offering essential support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems. With a strong background in ITIL processes and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or service desk role, you'll diagnose and resolve a range of hardware and software problems, manage service requests and incidents efficiently, and contribute to security awareness. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line IT support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex cases when needed.
Support users with application-related issues and ensure proper follow-up.
Apply ITIL processes to manage service requests and incidents, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
Contribute to security awareness by educating users and documenting procedures and solutions.
3. Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or service desk role, providing first-line support.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with ITIL processes.
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service Now, Topdesk, or 4me.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
