IT Support Engineer needed in Evergem, Belgium

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who will serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related questions from our employees. In this role, you will handle a variety of IT inquiries, manage the internal ticketing system, ensure the smooth installation and maintenance of hardware and software, and introduce new tools while coaching users on their use. You will also play a key role in the setup and implementation of IT projects, contributing to the ongoing digital transformation within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries from drivers and employees.
2. Monitor and manage the internal ticketing system in collaboration with colleagues, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
3. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
4. Introduce and implement new IT tools, providing coaching and support to users.
5. Participate in the setup and execution of IT projects, aiding in the company's digital transformation efforts.
Required Skills:
1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
2. Hands-on problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to IT challenges.
3. Broad interest and knowledge of IT tools, innovations, and current trends.
4. Experience in managing hardware and software installations and maintenance.
5. Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and experience in troubleshooting IT issues.
6. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
7. Previous experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred.
8. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
