We are seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join our Regional Environmental and Safety Office (RESO) team, within our Sustainability and Product Compliance Europe, where you would be based in Zaventem, Belgium.
In this role you will focus on sustainability advocacy, always aiming to bring all collaborators along on the sustainability journey. A vital part of your position with see you continuing to work on developing ECO Labels for our products. You will also co-lead the Sustainability Ambassadors activities across Sony Europe (with c130 members signed up, and 40 active members).
You will support with Questionnaires for any tenders, providing the information needed to satisfy requirements. We also invite you to join us in developing our mobile ‘Planet Station’ that will travel across Europe to build a broader educational program about wider environmental impact, and raise awareness on Sustainability of Products, Operations and Services.
You will:

Support implementation of the Global and European Environmental Program under the Global Environmental Management System (GEMS)

Monitoring and Reporting of Site Environmental KPIs of European GEMS certified sites

Support implementation of the Global and European OHS Program under the Global OHS Management System (OHSMS)
-
Monitoring and Reporting of OHS KPIs of European GEMS certified sites

Support responses on Sony’s sustainability performance to tenders, press inquiries, market requests.

Support content creation process for social media and external local and global Sony websites
-
Innovate and enforce awareness Sony’s sustainability journey of internal teams, ensuring all lines of business have the latest and most relevant information through new training creation, issuing of newsletters (SEU Sustainability Newsletter and Global ET&S Sustainability Quarterly Newsletter), annual Sony Corporation Sustainability Report data gathering and provision, etc.

Support in internal events and communications to ensure all stakeholders are inspired and engaged on Sony sustainability goals.

Assist Project lead with project management and implementation of EU Carbon Reduction Projects
The “region” covers geographical Europe, Russia, former Soviet Union countries, Turkey and Israel
The “company scope” is all Sony group companies in Europe being Sony Europe (incl. branch offices), Sony DADC and Sony Music

Your new office
Our office in Zaventem is designed to connect people with our newly installed bar, gym and breakout room to play darts or PS5. The office is next to the airport/train station (connected with a free shuttle), the bicycle highway to Brussels/Leuven (a true added value for employees that make use of the bicycle leasing program) and of course a parking space with electric chargers.
