We currently have a vacancy for a System Administrator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Installation and configuration of system components and server software, including patch management;
• Preliminary diagnosis of software and hardware problems, also in co-ordination with the central IT departments and 2nd level support;
• Operating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems, servers;
• Advise in areas such as capacity management, contingency planning, IT service continuity management, automation of repetitive tasks, security;
• Coordinate with hosting services and database management teams;
• Participate in defining and documenting configuration of systems & infrastructure;
• Incident management, Change enablement, Request fulfilment, Problem management: definition, analysis and resolution.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in one of the operating systems (Windows/Unix/Linux);
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Share Point 2016/2019;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in management of Share Point server, sites, web parts, content types, templates, controlling access to document libraries and setting permissions;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in implementing secure solutions using firewalls, DMZs, WAF, authentication protocols and hardening installations;
• Minimum 5 years of experience database technology such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server;
• At least 3 years of experience in scripting using Power Shell and other Share Point automations;
• At least 2 years of experience in Share Point Online related technologies;
• At least 1 year of experience in Confluence and Jira;
• ITIL® Certification will be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
