THE SCOPE
Gaming1 is seeking a talented and motivated system engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies and enterprise office networking to join our innovative Digital Workplace team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environments and network components, including firewalls and access points, across multiple locations. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure to support our growing operations and bring the best employee experience.

YOUR ROLE

• Implement, and manage Microsoft 365-based systems, including Office 365, Exchange Online, Share Point Online, and Teams
• Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure components such as firewalls, access points, and switches
• Configure, monitor, and maintain virtual servers’ infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the network by implementing and managing security measures and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and network issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other Digital Workplace team members to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and other IT projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our IT infrastructure.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365 technologies and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Office 365, Exchange Online, Share Point Online, and Teams.
• Experience with network components, including firewalls, access points and switches. Knowledge of Fortinet is a plus.
• Experience with virtual infrastructure.
  Knowledge of VMware/Nutanix is a plus.
• Familiarity with network security practices and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Microsoft 365 Security Administration (MS-500), Fortinet NSE 4 and 6, or similar are a plus.
