Responsibility
The individual will be responsible for telecommunications network planning and design across the Fiber, Copper and HFC networks.
Will be involved in developing proof-of-concepts and work instructions, and providing inputs to automate the design tools.
§ Undertake tasks from the team and responsible for the timely delivery of the quality design and plans.
§ Completing the assigned designs/drafting as per the client’s project specification
§ Referring to the technical documents and Belgium/Germany Engineering Standards as per the requirement
§ Using Merlin DT to create telecom network designs and documentation
§ Demonstrating a commitment to safety, health, environment and quality standard requirements.
§ Identify any potential constraints/challenges in the assigned tasks and escalate timely to the project manager and engineers.
§ Maintaining the defined Work Management Systems and keeping the wider team informed on all issues.
Requirements:-
§ Bachelor's degree in Engineering
§ 5 years of experience in Telecom Network Designing
§ Complete understanding on the Telecom Network architectures FTTx/HFC/Copper
§ Having valid work permit for the foreigners
§ Good understanding on the Belgium and European Engineering Standards
§ Proficient in GIS applications like Auto CAD, ESRI, Smallworld, QGIS,…etc. Having Merlin DT experience will be added advantage
§ Good communication skills (both written and oral in English) and is capable of working independently to complete assigned tasks
§ Good listening and reading. Can present and explain information to project engineers.
