- Contribute to the Strategy of the business unit locally together with the local Management team
- Coordinate the Business Plan process and monitor performance against BP
- Implement, embed and control effectiveness of MS Amlin Policies, Procedures and Standards
- Challenge the efficiency and quality of Operations and Services
- Ensure the accuracy, analysis and periodic reporting of Management Information
- Ensure proper execution of the Forecasting process
- Contribute to the quarterly Reserving process
- Support the development of Technical Pricing in accordance with the overall plan
- Take on cross country responsibility for specific areas of work within the Underwriting Management team.
- University degree or equivalent level through experience in Underwriting Management
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regional underwriting environment
- Clear understanding of underwriting dependencies
- Ability to make commercial decisions whilst ensuring regulatory compliance
- Strong written & oral skills (Dutch and English, additional French is an advantage)
- Ability to constructively challenge the business whilst being solution focused.
