• Contribute to the Strategy of the business unit locally together with the local Management team
• Coordinate the Business Plan process and monitor performance against BP
• Implement, embed and control effectiveness of MS Amlin Policies, Procedures and Standards
• Challenge the efficiency and quality of Operations and Services
• Ensure the accuracy, analysis and periodic reporting of Management Information
• Ensure proper execution of the Forecasting process
• Contribute to the quarterly Reserving process
• Support the development of Technical Pricing in accordance with the overall plan
• Take on cross country responsibility for specific areas of work within the Underwriting Management team.

• University degree or equivalent level through experience in Underwriting Management
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regional underwriting environment
• Clear understanding of underwriting dependencies
• Ability to make commercial decisions whilst ensuring regulatory compliance
• Strong written & oral skills (Dutch and English, additional French is an advantage)
• Ability to constructively challenge the business whilst being solution focused.
