Job Summary

What you will do

• Managing a team of 6-8 analysts based in Brazil and Panama.
• Ensuring team development and operations run with a customer-centric approach.
• Collaborating with the Supplier Management team to execute tactical procurement activities, including managing RFPs and RFQs, and negotiating contracts.
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimization through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and process enhancements.
• Conducting thorough analysis of spending patterns and supplier performance to pinpoint opportunities for savings and process improvements.
• Liaising closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and offer assistance in fulfilling them.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement process.
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and digitalization within the procurement function to improve efficiency, minimize lead times, and lower operational expenses.

We believe you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven strong experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Category Management, preferably within a global context.
• Proven knowledge and execution in Strategic Sourcing projects.
• Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct root cause analysis, and drive actionable insights.
• Proven experience in managing teams.
• Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP HANA/S4, Ariba) is highly desirable.
