Role reports to: R&D Microbiology Brazil


What you will do

• Active participation in the routine of microbiology laboratory related to microorganism maintenance, growth promotion, biological indicator qualification, etc.

• Support and preparation for sterilization of materials, culture media, and reagents.

• Development of test methods for finished products, raw materials, and methodologies to support microbiological Claims and Demos.

• Definition of strategy in accelerated stability studies for Cosmetic and Self Care products with a strong sense of urgency to actively respond to problems and opportunities.

• Ability to communicate clearly with the internal organization and with the global teams.

• Collaborates effectively with project members following priorities, checkpoints, and timelines in support of objectives.

• Have a mindset to find opportunities to improve our process proactively.

Qualifications
What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical, Biology, Biomedicine or equivalent field;

• Experience in the cosmetic/pharmaceutical/food industry is required. A strong background in microbiological fields.

• Experience with test method qualification, test method transfer, and laboratory investigations.

• Experience performing claim support methodology and knowledge of GMPs and guidelines related to cosmetics and drug products.

• Deep knowledge about the regulations and/or guidelines related to test method qualification & validation for drug products and cosmetic products.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

• Project management skills;

• Advanced English (oral and written communication).

• Experience with consumer products, such as self-care, skin care, skin cleansers, hair care, oral care, and/or baby care products is highly preferred.

• Solid experience in product development or related areas of the Cosmetic Industry or Pharmaceutical Industry.

• Experience with test method qualification, test method transfer for rapid methodologies.

• Intermediate or higher levels of Spanish.
