Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic software developer with high skills on Back-end programming and software architecture. We expect a person with experience in creating software using different kinds of languages and have experience consuming API’s and creating software based on it. In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring software development processes preparing software requirements and specification documents, working on the design, development and continuous delivering of solutions, automating processes, and maintaining computer systems and networks. This position reports to the Software Development Lead and must be able to address the demands in coding, testing, software operating and observability, assisting in implementing the processes required to deploy, maintain and improve applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Designing, Implementing, and Maintaining secure and reliable applications

• Performing troubleshooting of production issues

• Proposing and implementing improvements in existing production code, targeting better system performance

• Monitoring computer networks, software development processes, performance issues

• Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requests, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language and logic.

• Providing support to users by answering and/or addressing questions, troubleshooting issues and providing information about new features or services

• Maintain, manage and modify software systems, tools, and applications designing, building, configuring, coding, testing to meet business processes and technical requirements

• Conducting code reviews to ensure that new code is error-free and conforms to established coding best practices and security standards

• Reporting progress on projects to management using status meetings and other communication tools

• Propose standards in software development and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in software development and proficiency in one or more programming languages, especially Python, Java Script, or PHP.

• Frameworks: Django, Vue.js, Laravell or similar or any kind of framework related to your preferred language.

• Scripting languages like bash or similar.

• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently of direct supervision.

• Excellent verbal & written skills in English.

• Proven experience in software development and Linux, GIT, code-sharing, test automation, databases, system security and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Networking, Containers, Kubernetes.

• Understanding of Frontend Software Development and Architecture.

• Good ideas for UI/UIX implementation.

• Experience with asynchronous communication between applications.

• +5 years experience with Software Development in industry.

Plus:

• Automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Some Dev Ops skills.

• Previous experience in telecom, hosting, data center or internet service providers.
