Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn’t have a bank account. We offer a rich set of products across our debit and credit offers and the future is bright for Klar! The position and your daily adventures
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team and collaborate in developing great services, using the latest tech aimed at building excellent and high-performing new features to revolutionize the sector. This is a full-time remote position in Brazil,


What you can expect:

• Design, build, test and maintain robust, scalable and efficient backend services, working with modern frameworks.
• Use the best practices and high quality standards in order to achieve high performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Implement and work with observability systems on the services you will be collaborating on.
• Maintain: test, monitor, check and improve services you will be collaborating on.

What we are looking for:

• Strong proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming.
• Proven experience as a backend Python developer, with expertise in frameworks such as Fast API.
• Solid experience with high-concurrency microservices.
• Experience implementing and integrating services via APIs; experience with Kafka is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI models, such as LLMs or Lang Chain, is a bonus.
• Familiarity with observability tools (metrics, alerts) is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Motivated to continue learning, reseach and stay updated on the latest technologies.
