The Applied Business Management Course Instructor is an important part of the instructional team. With a strong focus on the academic success of every student, team instructors use their subject matter expertise, deep understanding of the curriculum, and student population to:
- Identify trends impeding academic success.
- Conduct targeted outreach and provide instruction to target groups and individuals.
- Build capable learners, confident in their ability to succeed academically and in life.
Their focus is on the academic success of every student in their care.
- BUS 105 Spreadsheet Essentials,
- BUS 115 Introduction to Business Applications,
- ECON 100 Essentials of Economics
- FIN 300 Business Finance, and
- FIN 301 Financial Management.
- A master’s degree in business, finance, or economics or a related field and three years of professional finance, banking, or economics experience is preferred.
- High proficiency with Excel.
- It is critical that you have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis, financial forecasting, leverage, capital budgeting, and capital structure.
- Understand the basics of financing, time value of money, capital cost.
- An understanding of economic models including supply and demand, production possibilities and economic markets.
- An understanding of macroeconomic indicators including unemployment, inflation, economic growth, and wages.
