Opportunity Overview:
Spectrum Accounting Group is seeking a bilingual Accounting Administrator to join our team to provide administrative support and customer service to our clients.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will effectively manage accounting and administrative information in our databases, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills — demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and build/maintain excellent relationships with clients and other various stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in the office, directing them to the appropriate personnel while adhering to COVID-19 precautions.
- Handle incoming phone calls, and direct where appropriate
- Respond to all emails and voicemails within 24 hours
- Setup, organize and maintain client files
- Review information received and identify inaccuracies or missing information
- Receive and send out mail, coordinating with couriers and administrators
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and privacy
- Assist with copying, faxing, and scanning projects as required
- Prepare and maintain both financial and administrative documentation and records
- Any other duties to meet workplace operations
- Post secondary diploma in business administration or equivalent work experience an asset
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an administrative position
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and Quick Books accounting software highly desirable
- Proficient in English and Punjabi
- Personable with excellent communication skills
- Quick learner who easily adapts to new situations

- Committed to confidentiality
- Mon – Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM – 37.5 hours/week
- Weekend availability required during tax season
- Possibility for hybrid/remote work after completion of 3-month probationary period
