Job Overview

We are searching for an experienced and energetic Barista to join our team in Toronto to enhance our member experience on-site. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people.


The main responsibilities of the Barista are to create and serve popular coffee and tea beverages in a timely manner and to member specifications. The Barista performs multiple duties while creating an excellent member experience.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)

• Help to build i Q Offices Café Program in partnership with our location team to enhance the member experience
• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages in a timely manner and to member specifications
• Complete Café opening and closing duties, including sanitization, beverage, and food set up, and other duties as required
• Responsible for inventory management of ingredients and all consumables related to the i Q Offices Café program
• Speak and interact with both new and regular members, building rapport and enhancing their on-site experience
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation at all times
• Follow health and safety guidelines and focus on providing all food and beverage items in a sanitary manner
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for menu items
• Clean and maintain Café and surrounding lounge areas regularly
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Other duties as necessary

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• At least 1+ year in the coffee service industry
• 2+ years of customer service experience
  
• Friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to outstanding customer service
• Tidy and self-disciplined
• Detailed-oriented and passionate about product quality
• Valid Food handler’s certification is a requirement
