Armour Transportation is looking for an Billing Specialist to join our team based in Moncton, NB.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a defined group of accounts to manage daily, ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and financial reporting.
• Audit accounts daily for specific details pertaining to each account.
• Review and correct any entries within the Correction Queue.
• Work with the Collections Team to ensure Customer requests are addressed timely to ensure accounts are kept within payment terms.
• Liaise with the Pricing, Sales, Logistics Coordinators and Operations Departments as required.
• Assist the team during periods of overload, vacation or absences to meet Department deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and ability to interpret billing rates.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Self-motivated with proven organizational skills.
• Good communication skills with both internal and external Customers.
• Effectively and professionally managing key accounts on both billing and collection issues.
• Experience and knowledge of Truck Mate is an asset.
• Transportation knowledge is considered an asset.
