Western Cannabis is looking to hire a Processing Associate to join their growing team to help keep up with the high demand!
Description:
Working closely under the direction of the Department Manger and QA department, the Processing Associates are responsible for, but not limited to, the processing of cannabis material while following strict Health Canada guidelines and adhering to Good Production Practices.
As a full time employee, your hours of employment would consist of four 10 hour shifts from 7am to 5:30pm, Sunday through Wednesday.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to maintain compliance with Western Cannabis and Health Canada regulations
• Processing Pre-Rolls
• Packaging Dry Cannabis, Pre-Rolls, and Cannabis Extracts
• Meeting packaging deadlines
• Picking and Shipping Cannabis Purchase Orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Completing and filling out forms
• Cleaning and Sanitization

Candidate Profile:

• MUST BE RELIABLE
• No cannabis experience necessary
• High School Diploma or higher
• Be physically able to perform the duties of the position; including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50lbs), and sitting on a regular basis
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Takes initiative and is a self starter
• Ability to work independently and safely in a group environment
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

All employees must be 19+
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
