Role Description:
Our team is seeking a talented individual to join our team in a full-time permanent role as a Carpenter/ Site Construction Labourer with experience in finishing and carpentry work for our various exciting new development projects. This is a tremendous opportunity for growth and experience in residential high-rise construction. You will play a key role in ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality, safety and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including site clean-up, material handling, and assisting other trades as needed
- Assist with finishing tasks, including drywall installation, sanding, painting, and trim work
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and other woodwork elements
- Ensure precise measurements and cuts for custom carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction labor, with an emphasis on finishing and carpentry work
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and construction materials safely
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, including framing, finishing, and woodwork installation
- Physical strength and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
- Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check

We are an on-site crew 5 days a week. We sometimes work late to make sure we meet our deliverables, so the ability to work flexible and irregular hours is required.
