Certified Health Care Aide NE - experienced in providing senior care, advanced dementia experience, physically fit to support sporting activities and take pride in domestic duties as well as HCA duties. HCA certification is manadtory. We are seeking reliable, compassionate, self driven HCA's who take pride in everything they do, with top notch STRONG ATTENTION to DETAIL. The Top 5% of candidates qualify as team members, if you possess exceptional dedication and demand the highest level of accountability, experienced with transfers and mobility limitations and understand the utmost respect and quality of life for your clients is paramount, we would like to hear from you.

NO DRIVING LOCATION TO LOCATION - regular schedule
MANDATORY: Flu & COVID Vaccinations Candidates MUST be fully vaccinated & Boosted
HOURS:
Variable part time or full time
Additional hours available to right candidate
MUST be consistently available for assigned schedule
MUST speak ENGLISH
MUST - be experienced with advanced dementia & associated behaviours
MUST HAVE:
  • HCA Certification
  • Valid police clearance
  • Class 5 Drivers License & Own reliable transportation
  • FLUENT English, spoken, written, read.
  • Independent thinker
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Experience working with empathy towards clients in the senior demographic
  • Legally available to work in Canada
  • When necessary proof of negative TB Results and Updated Immunization Record
  • Flexible enough to accommodate clients preferred hours
  • Comfortable supporting domestic duties to maintain the home
EXPECTATIONS
  • Perform custom tailored procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
  • Ability to perform domestic duties with detail and pride
  • Observe and document client conditions and changes following proper standards and in accordance with professional standards.
  • Understand and implement prevention practices
  • Provide Aids to Daily Living and safe transfer methods, mobility assistance
  • Maintain respect and dignity of clientele
  • Maintain Professionalism
  • Ability to show initiative and work well both independently and work well within a team
