Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision cutting of concrete surfaces using saw cutting tools and equipment such as walk-behind saws, core drills, hand saws, and wall saws, according to project specifications.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of concrete cutting equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to, diamond blades, concrete chainsaws, and hydraulic power units.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, including proper handling and storage of equipment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise during the concrete cutting process.
  • Ability to compile accurate work orders and time sheets, Site Docs experience a plus.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a concrete cutter or similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating concrete cutting equipment and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
Additional pay:
  • Overtime pay
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday

  • Most of the shift hours are within Monday to Friday (44 hours per week), with 5% weekends or evening shifts. Are you available to work occasional weekends or evening shifts?

  • Concrete Cutting/Coring: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
