Responsibilities:
  • Hauling trailers and equipment to and from the yard and/or sites.
  • Load and offload equipment making sure the equipment is properly secured for transport.
  • Monitor shop inventory for tools, and consumables. Place orders for necessary components, track stock levels, and ensure timely availability of supplies to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Planning, scheduling, and executing deliveries to ensure that products, materials, or equipment are transported efficiently and on time to their destinations.
  • Coordinate with field crews and project managers to ensure equipment is prepared and ready to use on jobsites to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed within the shop, including the safe handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
  • Address any operational issues promptly, working to resolve any obstacles that impact productivity, quality, or safety.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a shop foreman or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues on-site or in the field.
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of equipment and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Class 5 Drivers license with a clean abstract.
  • Proficiency in maneuvering a truck and trailer both, loaded and empty, in a variety of situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • French not required

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • Class 5 Licence (required)
