Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer to explore design. The ideal candidate should hold an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline and has experience in Python, AWS environment. The position requires good communication skills ability to work together in cross-functional technical teams in different areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Developing and managing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data is transformed and loaded into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Integrating data from multiple heterogeneous sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to manage and process large volumes of data efficiently.

Skills Required

• Proficient in Java or Python APIs and SQL with experience in the data space (data integration/ transformation jobs)
• Experience with Cloud technologies including AWS EKS Kubernetes etc.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Jenkins Artifactory u Deploy Data Dog deploying applications in a Dev Ops environment
• Data Management capabilities exposure at least one position of the two needs to have this skill.
• Nice to have exposure to Ni Fi Snaplogic3- 5 years experience with the below required soft skills as well.
• Good data engineering knowledge, Solves difficult problems utilizing the data skill, Guides / teaches other data engineers.
• Expert data and process modeling knowledge.
• Performs complex tasks independently reaching out in & out side the team scope and contribute in discussions.
