We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer in our Toronto Canada office.

As a Data Platform Engineer at MMC, you will have the opportunity to revolutionize how our organization utilizes data platform technologies. From on-prem to cloud-native architectures, you will work with a variety of data platform technologies, constantly expanding your skillset. What you need to have:

• Work Experience: minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Database Platform Engineer or similar role or DBA in a large organization.
  
• Database Technologies: Strong proficiency in Postgre SQL, MS SQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, and Databricks.
  
• Cloud Platforms: Solid understanding of AWS and Azure services, particularly those related to data storage, processing, and analytics.
  
• Integration Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in integration data sources, ETL processes, real-time data streaming, API integration, database replication and synchronization.
  
• Data Security, Governance, and Compliance: Understanding data security best practices, access controls and data encryption in multi-database environments.
  
• Programming & Scripting: Strong SQL, Python, Bash and Power Shell skills
