As a Data Platform Engineer at MMC, you will have the opportunity to revolutionize how our organization utilizes data platform technologies. What can you expect?

Hands-on Database expertise in implementing and managing data platform components on Postgre SQL, Oracle, MS SQL, Databricks, and Mongo DB

Strong coding skills in Python and SQL

Leading POCs and evaluating new data technologies

Platform Innovation and Improvement, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform’s capabilities and efficiency.

Strong Architectural Thinking and designing scalable, resilient, and high-performing data architectures

Automation of data platform tasks to increase efficiency and reliability

We will count on you to be:

Platform Automation and Dev Ops (25%)

Data Platform Architecture & Design (20%)

Evaluation & Prototyping New Technologies (20%)

Data Platform Performance Optimization (15%)
What you need to have:
-
Work Experience: minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Database Platform Engineer or similar role or DBA in a large organization.
-
Database Technologies: Strong proficiency in Postgre SQL, MS SQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, and Databricks.
-
Cloud Platforms: Solid understanding of AWS and Azure services, particularly those related to data storage, processing, and analytics.
-
Integration Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in integration data sources, ETL processes, real-time data streaming, API integration, database replication and synchronization.
-
Data Security, Governance, and Compliance: Understanding data security best practices, access controls and data encryption in multi-database environments.

Programming & Scripting: Strong SQL, Python, Bash and Power Shell skills
