Sentrex Wind Services Inc. is based in Quispamsis, New Brunswick and is a leading service provider to the commercial wind energy industry in Canada.
We are looking for a skilled Dev Ops Developer with a strong background in Linux server administration. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with hardware, software development and providing IT support to users .
Experience with Ceph, Kubernetes, Containerization,Database Administration and CRM software like Odoo is a plus.
Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technology Diploma in Computer Science, or related Engineering degree, or demonstrated equivalent expertise
• Experience administrating Linux servers
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Networking experience including router configuration

Not mandatory, but would be considered assets:

• Experience with Ceph distributed storage system
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration platform
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages
• Familiarity with Bash shell scripting
• Knowledge of database systems including Maria DB and Postgre SQL
• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Customize and maintain Odoo-based solutions

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-premises cloud infrastructure
• Develop and modify internal applications to meet dynamic requirements
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation
• Provide internal support as needed
