Job Description:
Department Overview
Reporting to the Director of Foreign Exchange Electronic Trading, the e FX Trading person will be responsible for managing and running the electronic trading platform. This is a diverse role which will require the person to work with multiple teams within the broader global FX group, in order to advance TD’s electronic FX offering.

Job Description

• Manage the electronic risk book
  
• Work with trading and quant group to help generate ideas on how to increase the profitability and volumes of electronic business
  
• Work with technical support to resolve any potential issues with the e FX trading platform
  
• Partner with technology team to enhance the e FX platform
  
• Co-ordinate and work with internal teams to onboard new clients and help implement new business initiatives
  
• Perform data analytics around profitability and performance of e FX business
  
• Work with business and quant team to help develop new analytics tools
  
• Serve as a liaison between the electronic FX desk and the broader FX business including sales, trading, technology, risk management groups and compliance
  
• This is a very dynamic role and your responsibilities will be commensurate with experience
  
  

Job Requirements

• Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
  
• Technical degree preferred (engineering, computer science, stats or related degree)
  
• Python coding knowledge
  
• Must be technical minded and have a basic understanding of programming logic
  
• Demonstrated strong business analysis skills, problem solving skills and initiative
  
• Self-starter, motivated towards improving and developing the business
  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where paying attention to detail is key
  
• Works well under pressure and is able to multitask
