We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Duty Cleaner in Purdy's Wharf Halifax, NS
Location: Purdy's Wharf Halifax, NS
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday 5pm-10pm
Wage: $16.20/hour
General Description:
The Heavy-Duty Cleaner is responsible for carpet shampooing, deep scrubbing hard surface floors, Strip/scrub & recoat wax floors & other tasks as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that safety is made a priority, abiding by all electrical and Health and Safety regulations.
• General maintenance & cleaning of floor equipment. Notify supervisor of any defects or repairs needed. Complete equipment logs daily.
• Follow schedules as prepared by the supervisor for tasks to be completed.
• Carpet shampoo, carpet spotting & hot water extraction.
• Machine scrubbing of hard surface flooring.
• Strip & refinish waxed flooring.
• Scrub & recoat waxed flooring.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience.
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintains a high level of accountability.
• Sound thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
• A clear criminal background is a job requirement.
